Bought off Ebay as a basket case, put together with home brew and other Ebay parts, engine was serviced and checked before going back into de-cluttered frame. Proper ally tank and a false oil oil tank to hide all the leccys and battery.
TLS front wheel from a Yammy poss YDS5 ?? and motor converted to single F/S carb as I found a massive amount of 'posted' problems with the original carbs on the KTOF Kawasaki Twin Owners Forum.
The bike rides really well and turns heads wherever I take her ;-)) |

So far I've added a set of clubman handle bars, I've upgraded to a set of front and rear brakes from a Zx6, and I'm in the process of making a 2 into 1 exhaust with a supertrapp muffler. The engine has been freshened up and I added bowl extensions to the carbs as well as K&N pod type air filters. Still trying to find the right cafe type tail section though. |
