This is a 1970 Suzuki T20 that was converted to a cafe racer early on. It was purchased in England and brought home by a serviceman in 1974 and apparently never ridden. |

This bike was bought stock in 2003, and became a strong runner with cleaned carbs and hotter plugs. Rear frame chopped and solo seat taken off of a '63 triumph parts bike added. Front fender bobbed and rubber boots added to forks. Mini cat eye turn signals tail light added. Drop handlebars and bar end mirrors lowered riding stance.
Stock air box replaced with K&N filters and rejetted carbs.
Paint scheme includes high temp satin black to engine, mufflers and tank. Olive drab accent with advantage camo stripes.
Christian fish and 1* (one a$$ to risk) police SWAT decal finish out the look. Dual disk brakes courtesy an 82 GS650 to be added this off season. Overall a fun retro rat project done on the cheap. |
